Clare Badenoch
Executive Officer
A Note from our President
My welcoming Clare Badenoch to our organisation, as our first Executive Officer, is both historic and exciting. When we think our club started with one adult helping a little grade 4 student in Balga, and here we are, 11 years later, with two Chapters, 70 volunteers, 35 students, growing rapidly and have appointed an executive officer. Who would have thought? This growth is the result of all the volunteers past and present who have shared the journey.

Clare brings her experience from working in various roles at Rio Tinto and in the insurance industry, together with strong interpersonal skills and very importantly, personal values that make her a great fit for our organisation. Already, just two weeks in to her role she is showing that we have a great person who has all the qualities that we were looking for.
Clare’s key roles will be to support the Board and executive, in particular helping us to improve our systems and processes, supporting our sub-committees, helping with sponsorship and interacting with schools, mentors, students and parents.
We feel lucky that Clare has chosen to work with us and look forward to a long association to help us support our students to be the best they can be.
Danny McEvoy
President
I am delighted to be a part of the Achievers Club! Providing support that empowers young people to reach their academic goals can drastically alter their future for the better.
I very much look forward to working with Danny and all the other volunteers and mentors to continue to provide and grow this wonderful service.
