Suresh Rajan
Board Member and Mentor
I’ve always believed that true change starts with opportunity — and often, all a young person needs is someone who believes in them. That’s why I’m proud to be a part of Achievers Club WA, where we don’t just mentor students — we walk alongside them as they grow in confidence, capability, and ambition.

I’ve been involved with the Club for a number of years, initially as a mentor and now as a Board Member. I’ve had the privilege of watching young people blossom simply because someone took the time to listen, support, and encourage them. It’s inspiring — and it constantly reminds me of the power of community and connection.

My professional life has spanned many decades and many sectors — from advocacy in health and immigration to governance roles in community organisations. I’ve worked across disability rights, multicultural affairs, and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, always with a focus on inclusion, equity, and social justice.

I’ve seen what happens when people are given the tools to succeed — and just as importantly, what happens when they’re not. That’s why the work we do at Achievers Club WA matters so deeply to me.

Outside of work, I’m a proud husband, a dog lover (shoutout to our very opinionated Mitzi), and a passionate advocate for a fairer, more inclusive Australia. Being part of this Club is one of the most rewarding parts of my week — because when we invest in our young people, we invest in a better future for all of us.
