City of Wanneroo
The support of the City of Wanneroo is vital to our operation. The City previously allowed us to use rooms, whiteboards and computers at its Wanneroo and Girrawheen Public Libraries free of charge. Now, they allow us to use the new Girrawheen Hub for a reduced rate.
Use of the Hub allows us to, amongst other things:
- come back together as a group
- better build a sense of ‘team’ and ‘belonging’
- access more computers
- reduce our student waiting list
- improve opportunities for us to better match mentors with students.
The City also provides administrative support. For example, it currently assists with the recruiting process and offers other support where required.

Alkira Care has pledged to cover a number of our costs, including insurance cover, printing, stationary and caps or t-shirts. They feel it is important to acknowledge how hard our students work when they are with us, so with their support we hope to be able to reward these students and present them with certificates of achievement. We are so grateful for the continuing support Alkira Care offers to us!
Founded in 1981, Ertech is the largest wholly employee-owned construction company in Australia, with more than 70 employee shareholders. Thanks to Richard, a Board Member of the Achievers Club WA and an employee of Ertech, Ertech has pledged to assist the Club by providing us with a donation of start up funds and allowing us to use their bus for student excursions. Ertech also hope to be able to provide us with a few second-hand laptops at little-to-no cost so that we can loan them to students who need them for high school.
Inner Wheel Australia (Wanneroo)
Thanks to Inner Wheel Australia's Wanneroo Club, who donated $500 to our cause. This certainly helped us make our fun day at the Perth Zoo a great day out for our students!
