Emma Grose
Assistant Chapter Coordinator
Girrawheen Chapter
As a young person myself going through the education system, I can only attribute much of where I am today to the wonderful mentors in my life. Had it not been for my high school teachers and other staff who stepped in and supported me when they did, I would not have overcome the hardships I faced throughout adolescence. I know the importance of having a safe, consistent adult in your life - and the integral difference they can make growing up. That is my why. To be able to pass it forward by being that nurturing role model to someone is a privilege.
I became a part of Achievers Club WA at the start of 2025 as a mentor, and joining the club in this capacity as Chapter Support Assistant a year later was a no-brainer. I believe every student should be

supported holistically: not just through an academic lens, but an emotional and social one. Offering guidance across all these sectors is my priority, which is why I value the Club’s emphasis on mentoring - not just tutoring. My involvement in the club is incredibly rewarding, and the lovely community and students I’ve worked with have offered me more than I could possibly return.
I am extremely passionate about mental health and youth advocacy within this space. In my spare time, I volunteer at zero2hero, a charity focusing on youth suicide prevention and mental health leadership. I have also volunteered at The Smith Family through the student2student Reading Buddies program, in which my passion for educational mentorship grew. I am incredibly excited to continue my involvement in Achievers Club WA, and watch it flourish!
