Liz Jolly
Board Member and Mentor
I started mentoring at the Achievers Club in 2022 after listening to a ‘Curtin Radio' promotion of the organisation. It is a privilege to meet amazing people volunteering their time for such a worthy cause, all with the same vision of helping students to achieve their goals and follow their dreams.
I was born in the UK and came to Australia in 1973. My career as a registered nurse and midwife has given me many opportunities to work with many marginalised communities, who through no fault of their own have not always had the support to reach their full potential.

I am married and we have three daughters, six grandsons and one granddaughter. When our children were young I was a leader with the Girl Guides for seven years a role which was very rewarding.
I am a member of Soroptomist International which is a global volunteer movement that aims to improve the lives of women and girls. Through this organisation I am volunteering at a local high school in a project that gives students the opportunity to develop interview skills preparing them for entry to the workforce.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with the Achievers Club's Board.
