Melissa Myles
Mentor

About me

I am a teacher and assistant principal at a double stream Catholic school in Perth. I go for the Freo Dockers and have a dachsund called Poppy who is one.

Why I decided to become a Mentor...

I thought I could use my knowledge and skills to give back to my community. I also thought it was an amazing program that was making a big difference to the lives of children.

Why I would recommend becoming a Mentor...

It may not seem like we are making a big difference in the lives of these kids, but in every session you imprint a little bit of knowledge onto the students and eventually they do or say something that amazes you and you can see that you have made a little bit of a difference!
